The person selected for this role will be confident with extraordinary communications skills, who enjoys working in a high paced team environment.
You will be responsible for the quantitative analyses in support of current and emerging initiatives and tests. Additionally, you will be accountable for delivering compelling insights into the success or failure of high visibility projects and working with our testing partners to ensure they understand the overall impact decisions will have on their business. You will also partner with key decision makers and present actionable insights to CVS leaders and the CPG industry.
OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
Concisely explaining complex analytical findings to non-analytic peers and Test & Learn customers.
Distilling insights from large amounts of data.
Providing key strategic insights and analytics to drive business decisions based on results for all planogram related tests.
Generating revenue growth by using a consultative selling approach in the acquisition, growth, and retention of accounts.
Managing existing business relationships, growing and preserving business while securing agreements from new customers and previously non-contracted customers.
Actively finding opportunities and driving business decisions based on data and critical thinking.
Forecasting then measuring the sales and profit results of prototype and retail design changes.
Ability to multitask several concurrent requests, quickly assemble data and generate impactful insights in a fast paced, dynamic environment.
Delivering ad hoc requests as needed to support the business.
Subject matter expert as it relates to Test & Learn projects.
Fully understand and be able to explain workflow
Coach sponsors on leveraging test and learn outputs
Utilizing proprietary tools to enhance delivery of actionable insights
5+ years retail experience.
3+ years’ experience using customer data in category management or related role.
Work experience with category management, shopper insights or related role. Experience working with CPG companies a plus.
Advanced user in a variety of applications - Excel, Word, Access, Power Point, MS SQL, Oracle (or similar SQL capabilities), SAS, APT, Tableau and Category Map.
- Bachelors degree or equivalent work experience
