CVS Health Payor Relations Senior Consultant in Woonsocket, Rhode Island

Job Description

The Payer Relations Sr. Consultant will be responsible for enhancing and maintaining core prescriber functionality within the RxConnect retail pharmacy application. This position is primarily responsible for project management, vendor compliance, development and maintenance of operational/financial system as it relates to prescriber data and prescriptive authority.

The Payer Relations Sr. Consultant will be responsible for performing data analytics and research that will assist in project development and post deployment activities.

Additional responsibilities include building and fostering relationships with internal and external stakeholders to develop the best in value solutions to minimize audit, financial and compliance risks.

This position is responsible to communicate status reports on key deliverables to upper management and ensuring all information is cascaded to promote team alignment.

Required Qualifications

5+ years of professional work experience

Preferred Qualifications

Proven ability to work independently and to recognize and resolve issues that impact the accuracy of foundational data used to make critical business decisions

Ability to think independently and offer innovative ideas and solutions

Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced, multi-project team oriented environment with a focus on adjusting priorities and meeting deadlines

Ability to effectively communicate and interact with internal and external stakeholders with a high degree of written and verbal communication skills

Strong working knowledge of all MS Office applications (MS word, excel, access, PowerPoint). Familiar with data analytics Micro strategy tool

High level of operational understanding with the ability to analyze high volumes of data and produce actionable work streams with a focus on high quality results


GED or High School Diploma
