CVS Health Oracle SQL/PLSQL Developer in Woonsocket, Rhode Island

Job Description

Join Fortune 7 CVS Health as an Oracle SQL/PLSQL Developer . You will be responsible for developing and implementing technical solutions as assigned, ensuring and adhering to all established methodologies, standards and guidelines, including but not limited to: analysis & design documents, program specifications, test plans and results, design, code, testing, performance tuning, debugging, and documentation of those programs while delivering assignments within specified time frames. Champion SDLC methods and standard methodologies to ensure that quality standards are met.

Required Qualifications

-5+ years of IT Experience with at least:

-5 years experience in Oracle SQL and Oracle PL/SQL

  • Proficiency in Oracle Performance tuning concepts.

  • 2+years experience in UNIX Shell Scripting (AIX 6.x, RHEL and above)

-Proficiency Oracle RDBMS (12C preferred)

-Experience building functional and technical design specifications

Preferred Qualifications

-Proficiency in Java J2EE concepts, Web logic, Apache.

  • Knowledge in scheduling tools like Control M

  • Experience working in JDA

-Retail supply chain business knowledge

-Retail Industry experience

-Strong organizational skills

-Excellent written and verbal communication skills

-Ability to perform independently and work well with others

-Strong analytical skills and attention to detail

-Excellent technical and problem resolution skills

-You will work in a dynamic and exciting environment and is expected to come up to speed on the assigned applications quickly


Bachelors Degree preferred, will accept two years of experience for each year of college not attained in addition to required years of experience.
