Custom API Developer

Key Role:

Develop interfaces between case management and information processing system and other organization systems or legacy systems. Develop APIs using capabilities within Pega Business Process Management (BPM), which will act as the platform for a majority of the modernized case information and processing system. Use the Pega Model Integration Connector where possible to configure integrations. Develop custom APIs in the form of Java microservices to exchange data between the modernized information processing and case management system and other organizational systems. Bridge capabilities between the modernized and legacy case management or information processing system until the final modernized system is fully implemented.

Basic Qualifications: 

-8+ years of experience with IT 

-6+ years of experience with developing custom APIs using Java or Spring Boot

-3+ years of experience with building and integrating APIs which communicate with COTS platforms

-Experience with debugging APIs and developing unit tests

-Experience in implementing with Agile methodologies

-Top Secret clearance 

-BA or BS degree 

Additional Qualifications: 

-Experience with Pega BPM
