JPMorgan Chase Digital Architect in Wilmington, Delaware

As an Technical Architect, you will responsible for design of complex, multi-system environments including the production, testing and development environments. Primary expertise/responsibility to design the integration of hardware, operating systems and connectivity for the target technology solution. Identifies and analyzes the business requirements of both internal and external clients. Works with the development, production and support teams to provide design guidelines and imparts knowledge on technical trends and solutions. Develop and maintain/improve the technical and middleware architecture framework. Provide expert knowledge of technical and middleware architecture, and serve as Subject Matter Expert to Business, Operations and Technology teams on those topics. Identify the hardware and software components the application will use for implementation and provide instruction on how to appropriately implement application components.

You will identify and communicate risks associated with component or application implementation. Provide support and guidance to the development teams during the analysis, development and testing processes. Support the application development and infrastructure teams to plan the sequence and content of application component releases. Prepare technical and middleware architecture deliverables in accordance with JPMC Chase standards and methodologies consistent with the target business architecture. Work effectively within team to identify and resolve issues. Communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical individuals at all levels.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

  • Minimum 10 years in Information Technology Software Development and Delivery

  • Minimum 5 years as Technical Architect with proven record of driving adoption of solutions and platforms into production

  • Ability to work independently across multiple initiatives simultaneously

  • Ability to work with multiple design and delivery partners including vendors

  • Strong understanding of project management methodologies and tools including experience with agile delivery

  • Minimum 5 years using architecture methodologies, standards and tools (TOGAF, domain driven design, UML, etc.)

  • Capability and solution pattern specific details to be specified by the applicant.
