The Vice President role is a Financial Analysis position within the Chase Card Services Finance team specifically on the Cobrand Card CFO team. The candidate will be the primary point of contact for Resolution & Recovery related filings and will be the Object of Sale lead for the Resolution Playbook for the Credit Card business.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the creation and updating of the Divestiture Playbook and Data Rooms; includes obtaining requisite approvals, executing the Quality Control process, and providing support to the firmwide Quality Assurance and Internal Audit processes

  • Review and approve relevant content of Object of Sale deliverables (e.g., Separability Executive Summary, Data Room Listing)

  • Review and update the list of Separability related questions to be answered in order to drive compliance with the Legal Entity Rationalization (“LER”) criteria

  • Serve as the point of escalation for the assessment against the Separability LER criteria of new, changing and existing legal entity structures

  • Assess compliance with the Separability LER criteria for initiatives proposed under the New Business Initiatives (“NBIA”) process

  • Lead analyses impacting the Chase Cobrand Card Business

The successful candidate will have a proven track record in a high-paced business environment, as well as the following:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting (or related discipline) - advanced degree or professional certification preferred

  • Minimum of 6 years of experience in a finance, capital management, control, or risk function preferred

  • Strong analytical and financial skills with a track record of execution against deliverables

  • Knowledge of balance sheet, income statement and basic accounting concepts preferred

  • Prior regulatory capital experience preferred

  • Demonstrated leadership in terms of attitude, initiative and inclusivity

  • Strong mix of analytical, written and presentation skills

  • Experience in interacting and communicating recommendations to business leaders for line of business

  • Superior organizational and process skills, attention to detail

  • Proactive – continually drives to understand unique needs of each business and/or program and challenges status quo

  • High proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Word

  • Familiarity with Portfolio and Full Business valuation methodologies is preferred
