Visual Designer

Key Role:

Create visual designs for both print and digital projects. Contribute by directly producing industry-leading design artifacts in a hands-on environment. Engage with clients to articulate client needs and requirements into clear industry-leading digital designs while identifying and prioritizing project milestones and processes. Contribute to business development activities, including identifying new opportunities, proposal responses, and various Agile development activities.

Basic Qualifications:

-3+ years of experience with graphics design, usability, information science, or the interface design and development field

-3+ years of experience with providing design support for Web and print

-Experience with delivering high-impact graphics design products, including Web sites, Web applications, mobile applications, brand strategy, and logo and print design in government and commercial sectors

-Experience with creating and documenting information design concepts and solutions by various means, including wireframes, high fidelity prototypes, or task flow diagrams

-Knowledge of design principles, Web-based technologies, and print design techniques

-Knowledge of creating, managing, and supporting user experience and feedback activities

-Ability to obtain a security clearance

-BA or BS degree required
