SodexoMAGIC at DC Public Schools has an opening for a (Digital) Unit Marketing Specialist to join our team.
The Unit Marketing Specialist will oversee all unit marketing initiatives to drive sales growth, engagement and customer satisfaction; maintains, tracks and researches customer feedback and reviews statistics and trends with management team. The ideal candidate should have exceptional leadership and team building skills, excellent communication skills, strong client relations, experience in marketing a high volume dining account and delivering exceptional customer service and support to students and management.
Additional duties include:
Develop effective and appropriate processes, standards, and metrics to measure success in optimizing the use of electronic media.
Own unit support to leverage technology across the District i.e., social media, digital menu boards, POS
Maintain and monitor technology
Implementing menu, promotions, special events on digital platform
Develop social media engagement plan in collaboration with management
Design promotional collateral for marketing programs, events, student e-blasts, newsletter and videos
Implement and manage student survey process i.e. Capture, on-line surveys, etc.
Works closely with Area Managers to ensure marketing strategies are fully implemented at each school within the District
Manage social media promotions that increase engagement, followers and participation

This position leads coordinated efforts in implementing and deploying unit marketing growth and customer satisfaction and retention strategies. Leads unit marketing plan development, implementation, communication and evaluation with analysis, training and engagement. Leads projects and is a resource for a strategic area. Can work as a project manager and/or liaison for marketing strategies, concepts and projects.
-Student Engagement: Engaging student body with promotions and programs to increase customer satisfaction and retention
-Partnerships: Partner with University for special events
-Web/Social Media: Increase Website and Social Media presence through Instagram, Twitter, Facebook, etc.
-Must have high energy, flexible, team oriented but work independently, and be a multi-tasker. Attention to detail, great communication skills and excellent interpersonal skills.
-Interacts with internal team members, media and public relations
-Ensures customers and Sodexo/SodexoMAGIC goals are aligned
-Coordinate all unit marketing initiatives to drive sales growth and track results
Qualifications & Requirements
Basic Education Requirement - High School Diploma, GED or equivalent
