Job Description:

The Test Analytics & Reporting Executive is a member of the Enterprise Independent Testing Team responsible for defining the analytics and reporting strategy for the Independent Testing function. A test is defined in the Independent Testing Enterprise Policy as “an independent point-in-time examination of one or more processes, controls, policies and procedures or data sources utilized for managing risk to assess the effectiveness of the control environment. A test is focused on answering a specific objective and has a pre-defined pass/fail criteria.”

This role assesses the analytics and reporting needs of the Independent Testing function, designs an effective enterprise reporting framework, and leads a function dedicated to the reporting of global testing across the enterprise. Defines the scope, types, and frequency of reporting required for test results. The Analytics and Reporting Executive partners with the Chief Testing Officer to provide Enterprise Independent Testing (EIT) results.

The Test Analytics & Reporting Executive is responsible for developing, coordinating, and overseeing reporting routines. Responsibilities of the Analytics & Reporting Executive also include ensuring consistent quality of activities, processes and outputs by establishing effective review practices across teams.

This role is responsible for providing leadership direction, attracting, assessing, developing, motivating and retaining a successful team.

Additional responsibilities include:

  • Enterprise Independent Testing – Reporting and Analytics as part of Global Risk is building new business intelligence and data connections to drive and support the reporting and automation programs. These are key aspects of our program to deliver testing and reporting as the testing utility of the Bank.

  • This Sr leader will drive our Automation Data Connections and Dashboarding work.

  • This leader will be a direct report to the EIT Test Analytics and Reporting Executive and manage a team of 11.

  • This individual will manage and coordinate the engagement across the Technology, Tech & Tools, Sampling & Test Development, DQCE, ADS / Data Owner, Enterprise Data Architecture (EDA) and Enterprise Data Management (EDM) teams.

  • They will be responsible for managing the identification of data elements needed to execute sampling and test execution tests.

  • The individual will be responsible for leading the data mapping, analysis, approvals and connection work required for the successful automation of tests and the continued build of dashboarding in myCTO that supports both the automation platform specifically and the overall myEIT Dashboarding portal for all use cases.

  • They would be responsible to ensure that all tests proposed for automation are analyzed and the required data elements are documented, requested, approved and tested through to implementation on the automation platform.

  • Reviewing test scripts and/or SQL code to identify type of testing (Reg W, Activity, etc.), product (credit card, mortgage, etc.) and specific data elements required to obtain sampling data or to automate tests. Work with DQCEs and application teams to determine best source of data and obtain approvals. Determine best way to group different tests to minimize data requests.

  • Work with Test Owners to confirm if new sources are appropriate and ensure proper connections, execute UAT testing of data elements and implementation of all connections.

  • In addition, this individual will ensure that all documentation, EDM compliance for Transport and Capture requirements are met and maintained to standard.

Required Skills:

  • 10-12 years of overall technology industry experience with an emphasis leveraging disparate data sources and implementing process automation

  • Deep understanding of process automation, re-engineering, and robotics trends in banking; past working experience in driving process optimization efforts in a comparable environment

  • Team management experience

  • Ability to work collaboratively in teams and develop meaningful relationships to achieve common goals

  • Very Strong time Management and task prioritization skills

  • Ability to communicate clearly and concisely verbally and in writin

Desired Skills:

  • Data experience: data analysis, data modeling, data mining, big data, data visualization and/or statistics

  • Experience with machine learning and artificial intelligence is a plus• Proficiency in Python, SQL and Hadoop a plus
