Cyber Threat Intelligence Analyst

Key Role:

Comprehend and leverage all sources of information, including INTs, open source material, law enforcement data, and other government data or information to produce authoritative intelligence assessments that define Cyber threats to networked US or DoD information networks, associated infrastructure, and weapons systems. Use structured methodologies and techniques and apply technical and specialized subject matter expertise to conduct all-source intelligence analysis with a specific emphasis on information communications technologies and their impact on network operation. Apply knowledge of hardware, software, and networking protocols, information warfare tactics, techniques, and procedures, adversary capability and intent, and the impact of the threat on network architecture and system operations. Develop products tailored to clients ranging from tactical to strategic levels, including actionable leads, complex written products, and formal or informal briefings. Develop concepts, approaches, and strategies to support DoD agencies tasked with conducting computer network operations. Facilitate productive information sharing and analytic outreach and develop excellent collaborative relationships with members of the intelligence community.

Basic Qualifications:

-Experience with all-source intelligence analysis, researching data from multiple intelligence sources and databases, and analyzing findings

-Knowledge of computer networking and Internet technology

-Ability to write high-quality intelligence assessments and briefings for senior-level government officials

-Ability to communicate and collaborate effectively with analysts in the intelligence community

-TS/SCI clearance

-BA or BS degree in CS, Information Systems Security, Information Assurance, Information Security Management, Intelligence Studies, Cybersecurity, or Cybersecurity Policy

Additional Qualifications:

-Experience with working in any of the following fields: information assurance, network security, network engineering, or enterprise IT

-Knowledge of concepts and applications in C4ISR and their tactical contribution to warfighting in all operating environments

-Ability to analyze Cyber network events and determine their impact on current operations through all-source intelligence

-Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills

-MA or MS degree in CS, Information Systems, Information Security, Information Security Management, Information Security Policy and Management, Intelligence Studies or Analysis, Strategic Intelligence, Cyber Intelligence, or a related field

-Security+, NET+, Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH), Certified Information Security Manager (CISM), Certificate in Cybersecurity, or related Certifications

Clearance:

Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; TS/SCI clearance is required.
