Business Financial Analyst, Junior

Key Role:

Prepare reports on programs and budgets, financial presentations, and other materials to support a Navy client's programming and budgeting processes, including their basis of estimates. Analyze the preparation of program and budget information for submission to the client. Assist with the preparation of capabilities requests, point papers, briefing charts, spreadsheets, memos, and other documents within prescribed timelines for review and analysis. Assist with the interpretation of requests for data and facts, acquire, analyze, prepare presentations of program and budget data for use in program decision-making, and assist with the analysis of funded requirements combined with the execution history and the analysis and reporting of planned versus actual requirements and funding. Support and maintain funding profiles for programs, projects, and contracts. Analyze budget and financial planning for an organization, organizational unit, program, and expenditure and cost center to identify potential variances. Assist with monitoring expenses against budgets for the government with strategic business planning and analyze financial data and transactions for appropriate use.

Basic Qualifications:

-1+ years of experience with budget planning, preparation, or execution for acquisition programs

-Experience with the preparation of reports that reflect program or project statuses for cost, schedule, and performance

-Experience with the Program Budget Information System (PBIS), Automated Funding Document System (AUTODOC), Standard Accounting Reporting System (STARS), Prisms, or Cobra

-Ability to obtain a security clearance

-HS diploma or GED

Additional Qualifications:

-2+ years of experience with the Navy

-Experience with Navy ERP

-Secret clearance

-BA or BS degree

-Defense Financial Manager (CDFM) or DAWIA Level I Business or Financial Management Certification
