Intelligence Planner

Key Role:

Advise and assist the United States European Command (USEUCOM) with the development and integration of intelligence disciplines into the family of military plans, including theater and global campaign planning, US-only planning, bilateral planning, NATO planning, Cyber planning, and special program planning. Support the development of national intelligence support plans in conjunction with Joint staff and combat support agencies. Participate in Joint planning groups, including adaptive planning and execution process, Joint Capability Integration and Development System (JCIDS), Joint intelligence preparation of the operational environment, Joint operational planning process, intelligence community capability requirements processes, and the intelligence planning process. Identify intelligence capability shortfalls and requirements, work in coordination with USEUCOM intelligence planners, and ensure these shortfalls are included in the annual USEUCOM Integrated Priority List. Support the annual Joint assessment process to inform future capability development efforts.

Basic Qualifications:

-5+ years of experience with working in the DoD or US intelligence community

-3+ years of experience with supporting intelligence planning

-Knowledge of Joint Doctrine Publications 2, 3, and 5 and Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Instructions (CJCSI) 3314.01 and 3110.02H

-TS/SCI clearance

-BA or BS degree

Additional Qualifications:

-Experience with both deliberate and crisis action planning procedures

-Experience with providing excellent customer service by clearly and concisely communicating work status, methods, instructions, problems, requirements, options, and concerns with team members, managers, and clients in the intelligence community

-Ability to perform shift work, if requested by US government

-Possession of excellent critical thinking, problem-solving, and grammar skills

-TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph
