Intelligence Analytical Tradecraft Methodologist

Key Role:

Support the development of EUCOM JAC intelligence tradecraft guidance and recommendations to ensure that methodologies comply with analytic tradecraft standards. Evaluate a wide-range of existing methods, models, and algorithms to identify appropriate analytic applications and analytic use cases to pilot new methods. Develop strategies to integrate quantitative methodologies into traditional or qualitative analysis and support the development of tradecraft guidance and recommendations to ensure that methodologies comply with analytic tradecraft standards. Develop metrics, present findings, and suggest recommendations for improvement. Support the development and implementation of self-assessment measures to minimize subjective variations in evaluation data. Identify significant strengths, weaknesses, trends, gaps, and any other notable features of analytic tradecraft in the evaluated intelligence production. Support the development and delivery of tradecraft evaluation training and assist with the development of tradecraft policy and analytic guidance.

Basic Qualifications:

-5+ years of experience with designing, tailoring, and applying intelligence tradecraft methodologies

-5+ years of experience with integrating quantitative methodologies into qualitative or traditional intelligence analysis

-3+ years of experience with developing or delivering intelligence training materials

-Knowledge of Intelligence Community Directives and applying these standards

-TS/SCI clearance

-BA or BS degree

Additional Qualifications:

-Experience with writing and editing clear, concise intelligence products

-Knowledge of the European region

-Ability to perform shift work, if requested by US government

-Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills

-Possession of excellent presentation skills

-TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph
