Job Summary:

The successful applicant will join the EMEIA Cross Service Line and Markets Learning Team, which supports our ongoing efforts in non-technical learning, including overseeing elements of the markets curriculum and managing certain milestone events in EMEIA ( Direct Admit Partner Program - DAP ).

The role focuses on supporting the development and execution of our markets strategy within the overall set of Talent priorities. A key element in Vision2020 is supporting our people in professional development. As such, high quality, high impact, strategically aligned learning initiatives are key enablers.

This role reports directly into the EMEIA Learning Leader and, as such, supports the management of a complex portfolio of content development and deployment, program execution and various interventions requiring extensive consultation as well as the abilities to prioritize, plan, execute and influence.

In this regard, the successful applicant will take ownership of certain EMEIA-wide projects (which will involve leading a small team) and certain courses in the Cross-Service Line and Market Learning curricula. He/she will have an active role in managing the delivery of a key EMEIA milestone event, DAP, ensuring high levels of quality.

These responsibilities will involve working with EMEIA Regional learning teams, Area Service Line learning teams and Global learning teams to deliver cross-Service Line and markets objectives and priorities. When partnering with the various stakeholders she/he will help understand specific needs and execution challenges; identify and share best practices across geographies, functions and service lines; and help drive positive change and consistency.

The role also includes participation in global projects and initiatives, involvement in taskforces or workgroups, depending on specific Learning and/or Development priorities, at global and EMEIA level.

Key responsibilities:

  • The successful applicant will join a team with the overall responsibility of executing and deploying Area-specific and globally aligned cross-Service Line and market learning initiatives across EMEIA to develop the engagement and capabilities of our people.

  • The successful applicant will play a lead role in one of the EMEIA milestone events DAP; key signature events aimed at new direct admit partners into EY.

  • He/she will be involved in the delivery of new markets deployment plan including promoting the curriculum with the EMEIA Regional learning leaders. This will involve designing and delivering effective Train-the-Trainer sessions (including virtual sessions) to develop Regional facilitators to facilitate these courses.

  • The successful applicant will have a role in the planning, budgeting, execution, evaluation and reporting on the markets learning portfolio/curriculum in EMEIA. This will involve instructional design, deployment considerations and assessment of learning effectiveness. In all these areas, she/he will bring innovative ideas to the team.

Knowledge, skills and experience requirements:

  • A proven track record in managing and deploying a learning curricula within a business environment which helps drive business results

  • A proven track record as a very highly-rated classroom facilitator is essential, as is robust knowledge and experience of content development and deployment

  • Experience as a virtual-classroom facilitator and instructional designer is strongly preferred.

  • The successful candidate will need an appreciation of, and a willingness to fit into, the culture of a predominantly virtual EMEIA-wide team.

  • He/she will have experience in leading teams, which is important from the start and will become critical as the person starts to lead complex milestone events.

  • Ideally the candidate will possess strong and robust knowledge of the EY (or similar) business, strategies, organizational structures and the cultural diversity in EMEIA.

  • Strong relationship management and influencing skills to ensure business-driven conversations and ensure stakeholders’ alignment with Area or Global approaches at all levels are important.

  • Experience at various organization levels (Country, Region, Central Area/Global) would be valuable, as would experience from working across international boundaries and in a multicultural environment. Experiences gained in a combination of both matured and emerging markets is a distinct advantage

Qualification requirements:

  • The majority of qualifications required are mentioned above. Having some form of facilitator accreditation or qualification is desirable, either from EY or from an external body – this applies to the virtual-classroom environment as well as the physical.

  • Significant experience is required to bridge the breadth of EYU i.e. learning, coaching and experience, and to bring credibility to influencing, execution and thought leadership.

Duration : 6 to 9 months assignment

Location : Open to EMEIA based candidates. No relocation required
