Defense Weapons Analyst

Key Role:

Provide all-source intelligence on counter-proliferation (CP) or counter weapons in support of the United States European Command Joint Analysis Center. Maintain responsibility for the research, interpretation, analysis, production, dissemination, and assessment of all-source intelligence products regarding foreign nuclear fuel cycles and chemical and biological threats. Monitor threat situations and produce intelligence products to inform the commander, staff, and deployed forces of inform plans or strategies and ensure a timely response to current and future issues. Read and summarize intelligence reports, draft collective estimates and interagency products and processes, maintain and update databases, identify intelligence gaps, respond to ad hoc information requests, and track all tasks and ad hoc products to completion. Advise and brief senior leadership on critical political and military capabilities issues pertaining to leadership values, threat perceptions, and decision-making methods. Identify and maintain liaison with the counterpart specialist throughout the military services, theater commands, and intelligence community to exploit all sources of information.

Basic Qualifications:

-5+ years of experience with military or national intelligence analysis and production

-3+ years of experience with all source analysis, including CP or CWMD indicators at national or theater-levels

-TS/SCI clearance

-BA or BS degree

Additional Qualifications:

-Experience with writing and editing clear, concise intelligence products

-Knowledge of the European region

-Ability to perform shift work, if requested by US government

-Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills

-Possession of excellent presentation skills

-TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph

Clearance:
