Current Operations Mission Assurance Analyst

Key Role:

Provide direct support to meet Combatant Command (CCMD) strategic and operational level. Coordinate with Air Force, DoD, and other CYBERCOM components, as required. Coordinate the conduction of operations preparation of the environment for execution through the CCMD and coordinate Cyber orders between the CCMD and CYBERCOM. Monitor global incidents and threats in coordination with the client and provide them to the CCMD. Coordinate and synchronize mission assurance policy and guidance to higher HQs. Communicate Cyber force capabilities, limitations, and readiness to the CCMD. Provide recommendations to the CCMD to enable them to formulate effective plans and strategies from a mission assurance perspective.

Basic Qualifications:

-6+ years of experience with hardware architecture design concepts

-6 years of experience as part of a Joint, DoD, Air Force, sister service component, or commercial network operations crew

-4+ years of experience with analyzing the planning, development, documentation, and execution of configuration management and change control processes

-3 years of experience with documenting network ontologies, data models, schemas, formats, data element dictionaries, software applications program interfaces, and equivalent technical specifications

-Knowledge of theater KCT information flow, co-located ISR analysts, and potential adversary threats and vulnerabilities

-TS/SCI clearance

-BS degree

-DoDI 8570 Level II Certification, including Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) or Certified Information Security Manager (CISM)

Additional Qualifications:

-Experience with developing and deploying data-driven analytics and event-driven analysis

-Experience in an Air Operations Center (AOC), Operations Center (OC), or other service component operational level

-Experience as staff at the Numbered Air Force level or above

-Knowledge of Cyber operations, including AFCYBER capabilities or limitations

-Knowledge of Joint Planning and Execution Services (JPES), Joint Operations Planning Process (JOPP) and Adaptive Planning and Execution System (APEX), or Joint Operations Planning and Execution System (JOPES)

-Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills, including oral briefing and technical writing

-Possession of excellent organizational skills

-BS degree in CS, Software Engineering, or a Science field
