Mission/Software Engineer, Mid

Key Role:

Support capability integrations on the Joint Space client's operational floor specific to the space battle space mission area. Perform complex analysis, design, development, testing, and debugging of computer software in support of distinct product hardware or technical service lines of businesses. Provide software design, operating architecture integration, and selection of computer systems. Leverage knowledge of one or more systems, one or more platforms, and of programming languages.

Basic Qualifications:

-5+ years of experience with software engineering

-Experience with engineering space battle space awareness applications

-Knowledge of space-related mission applications

-Knowledge of Cloud infrastructures, including Amazon Web Services (AWS)

-Ability to convert requirements into software specific implementations, including Use Cases and Wireframes

-TS/SCI clearance

-BA or BS degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics

-Security+ Certification

Additional Qualifications:

-Experience with implementing solutions in the Cloud AWS infrastructure

-Knowledge of space mission capabilities and applications

-Ability to learn new technologies in Cloud, including Kafka, Nifi, and Hadoop
