The Engagement Coordinator is a pivotal member of People Advisory Service, Mobility Tax team, dedicated to applying knowledge of the corporate and personal tax processes and deadlines, engagement economics and various information systems to advance the efficiency, productivity and profitability of the team.



  • Coordinate engagement administration functionsamong tax practitioners and administrative team including engagementacceptance procedures, engagement letters, client assistance packages andscheduling of assignments

  • Electronic transmitting tax returns and forms

  • Coordinate, prioritize, assign and track workengagements

  • Coordinate requests for tax hours from otherbusiness units

  • Monitor and follow up with tax practitionersto keep the work assignment process on track and knowledgeable ofdeadlines

  • Coordinate, track the process of engagementsthrough our practice management systems and assist with coordinationof billings

Administrationand Analysis

  • Attend weekly scheduling meetings, recordchanges and follow up on issues arising

  • Meet with tax practitioners on regular basis(weekly) to prioritize work and coordinate engagements

  • Maintain real-time data of status of projectsand tax returns


  • Demonstrates up to date knowledgeof business unit policies, practices and processes in order to assist theteam in meeting product quality and compliance standards

Knowledge,Skills and Experience Required

  • University degree (or equivalentin experience) and a keen desire to learn and take on new challenges

  • At least 2 years related workexperience

  • Able to manage multiple tasks,receive work from various sources and with tight deadlines

  • Strong organizational and timemanagement skills

  • Strong Excel and Word skills

  • At ease in working in aprofessional services environment
