Our Financial Services Risk Management (FSRM) practice is a specialty advisory unit that provides integrated market, credit and operational risk management; operations improvement, business integration, and strategic cost management; and regulatory and treasury advisory services to financial institutions and other capital markets participants. FSRM includes individuals who have industry, client and product knowledge as well as quantitative, regulatory, project management and technology professionals. Our teams work together to coordinate the delivery of risk management, regulatory and business performance services to a variety of clients, including commercial banks, investment banks, broker-dealers, asset managers, insurance and energy trading companies, and other organizations.

FSRM is looking for a Manager with banking and capital markets experience acquired in the banking industry or in advisory services.

Responsibilities:

The FSRM-Banking and Capital Markets- Manager will be involved in all aspects of the delivery of financial services to advisory and assurance client accounts across different functions of Capital Markets. Among other things, the role will include providing assistance to financial services organizations.

The Manager will be responsible for supporting engagement execution, as well as developing and maintaining productive relationships with clients.

We expect the candidate to demonstrate:

  • Businessanalysis experience and able to lead meetings around requirementcollection independently

  • Experienceworking in a project environment, conducting Business Analysis, ProjectManagement and/or Change Management activities

  • Experiencegained from participating in change/transformation programs ata Banking or Capital Markets organisation

  • Broadproduct experience in Capital Markets (e.g. Fixed Income, Equities,Derivatives, etc)

  • Understandingon a wide variety of quantitative and qualitative research methods andability to apply them appropriately to business issues

  • Familiarityof different functional areas in the Capital Markets space (e.g. FO, MO,BO, Technology, Risk, Finance, Legal and Compliance)

  • Previousbusiness process re-engineering, change management and/or projectmanagement/PMO support

  • Excellentcommunication skills and the ability to liaise with and influence a rangeof internal and external stakeholders

  • Managementconsulting experience (either as internal or external consultant) desired

Additionally, we expect the candidate to demonstrate:

  • Strongacademic background with a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Business,Finance, Economics or quantitative studies with a focus on financialmarkets

  • Possessstrong analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Abilityand flexibility to work on a range of different business areas as aconsultant

  • Self-motivatedand willing to ask probing questions to identify client opportunities

  • Possessstrong communication, presentation and technical writing skills todescribe ideas, concepts and issues that involve interpretation, analysisand assessment of complex conceptual topics

  • Possessa self-starting attitude, an ability to think outside the box and thriveon new challenges

  • Willingnessto travel on short notice to meet client needs
