POSITION SUMMARY

The role of the EHS Analyst is to track, trend, and translate all safety and contractor data (behavioral and observational) into useable information that can assist the business in identifying their potential At-Risks. Guiding and developing the Hess Team as well as contractors into an advanced team of Safety Problem Solvers, which will create a better safety culture and a safer work environment for everyone.

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Have a strong understanding of the TREND, ISN and SAP systems:

o BST’s model (ABC Analysis, Feedback and Reporting)

o ISN Functionality and Reporting

o SAP Contract and Vendor system

o Knowledgeable of the Training Slide Deck and can train from it

o Know Rincon and Rincon Cloud software (entering data, pulling reports, building queries, and building reports)

o Be able to coach observers to improve observation quality.

o Be able to present TREND data to groups and talk to groups about what is being seen in their areas.

  • Have an understanding of the other Safety data systems:

o Synergy (Hazard identification data entry, trending, and reporting)

o Site Safety Visits (Understand the system, track, and report)

o Advanced Safety Audits (Understand the system, track, and report)

o Yellow Cards (Understand the system, track, and report)

  • Attend weekly Central Services Meeting:

o Call-in

o Face-to-face once a month

  • Attend Monthly Steering Team & Contractor Management meetings:

o Process Steering Team (Participate, take action items, and push info to Area teams)

o Area Steering Team (Take minutes, liaison to the Process, and give guidance)

  • Analyst I – SOR and WO

  • Analyst I – NOR and Midstream

  • Supervisor – Well Factory and Infrastructure

  • Participate in Contractor Management Orientations & Audits:

o Lead Orientation sessions

o Support Contractor Management Audits

  • Reporting out:

o Report out TREND and Contractor Management data to everyone (Areas, Houston, ND EHS, and anyone else who asks for it)

o Report out Safety Data to Safety Committee
