You will develop algorithms, software, and models in support of the Fleet Ballistic Missile FBM flight controls and steering sections of the FBM Flight Software. You will participate in the evaluation of current algorithms and software, including development of simulation models. Participate in the development of new algorithms for both the current FBM LE system, as well as the development of new algorithms and software for the future FBM LE2 system. You will work with other software engineers to develop actual flight code, and test the flight code within various software test platforms.

Typically has 5 - 9 years of experience.

Basic Qualifications:

3-5 years working in the development and evaluation of Missile Navigation, Guidance and Control Systems, including the ability to develop autopilot algorithms and models.

The ability to code in C, and integrate various software models into both non-real time and real time simulations

Experience working with Matlab and Simulink

Must be willing to move with the FBM program to Colorado in 2022

Desired Skills:

Experience in real time simulation development and analysis of ballistic missiles

Experience in Autocoding using Simulink

Experience in various levels of flight software verification and analysis including flight code in the loop, Processor in the Loop, and Hardware in the Loop analyses
