Lockheed Martin Electrical Engineer in Stratford, Connecticut

Description: Research, plan, and design of electrical and electrohydraulic motion/load control systems used on specialized machines for Ground Test purposes. Common examples are aircraft component static and fatigue tests, airframe structural and shake test, rotor system whirl stands, and system integration labs. Responsibilities span from conceptual design through the operational product and include design, drawing/schematic preparation, documentation, component selection, fabrication support, checkout, and support during the operational life of the equipment

Basic Qualifications:

Bachelors degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education, with 5 years of professional experience; or 3 years of professional experience with a related Masters degree. Considered career, or journey, level.

Desired Skills:

Experience with Hydraulics and Electrohydraulic systems.

Well versed in Microsoft Office. Some programming experience is desired. Candidate must be able to work independently or in a team setting to develop

design solutions and have solid communication skills

to present their ideas to management and

customers. Candidate must be able to manage a

project form start to finish and work within set budget and schedule constraints.
