.NET Web Applications Developer

Key Role:

Work in an Agile-Scrum team environment to design, develop, test, and maintain training and records management systems equivalent to the systems requirements of a university. Develop .NET Web applications using client-side technology, including JavaScript, JQuery, and AngularJS with C# and MVC. Build Web services using WCF, REST, and JSON. Collaborate with the Scrum Master, project manager, product owners, business analysts, UI/UX engineer, and testers to ensure the comprehension of requirements and facilitate the validation of system delivery. Participate in Scrum processes, including daily scrum, sprint planning, backlog grooming, retrospectives, and unit and alpha testing. This position is located in Quantico, VA.

Basic Qualifications:

-3+ years of experience with developing ASP.NET-based applications

-3+ years of experience with developing applications using C#

-3+ years of experience with object-oriented design and development

-Experience with .NET MVC

-Experience with .NET 4.0 or 4.5 frameworks

-Experience with client-side technologies, including HTML, JavaScript, JQuery, and Ajax

-Active Secret clearance

Additional Qualifications:

-Experience with abstraction, advanced techniques, best practices, and design patterns

-Experience with developing services using Windows Communication Foundation (WCF)

-Experience in building applications with an Oracle database back end

-Experience with developing engaging and user-friendly user interfaces that conform to accessibility standards

-Experience with ORM technologies, including NHibernate and Entity Framework

-Experience with using AngularJS or other SPA architectures

-Experience with Microsoft Access and Visual Basic for Applications (VBA)

-Active Top Secret clearance

-BA or BS degree
