Bank of America Operations Analyst in Scranton, Pennsylvania
Duties of this team member as an SME/Lead for Traffic Control Operations (TCOP):
Utility TCOP team member that will have the opportunity to learn and monitor AMRS, EMEA and APAC TCOP payments and applications
May report to a team lead or group operations manager
Representation of Global Payment Operations on incident management calls during the parts of the AMRS, EMEA and APAC day.
Part of incident management/escalation inclusive of all technology (Priority 1, 2 and 3), operational and external impacting issues.
Understanding that decisions impact multiple product lines, customers and associates.
Coordinating and working with our BACI leaders and staff for AMRS, EMEA and APAC monitoring events
Following established event management guidelines, escalate any system application problems quickly toward problem resolution.
Must be able to interact with all levels of management and represent TCOP during project meetings, system/application incidents.
Completes daily & monthly logs and reports of all incidents supported and provide input in to monthly metric reporting and dashboards.
Prefer in-depth understanding of Global Payment Operation’s processes and impact that our work has on clients and other divisions within the company (knowledge acquired through increasingly responsible operations analysis work).
The ability to work with and manage relationships with team members located in multiple sites and regions.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills a must.
Payment Operations knowledge
Requires thorough operations knowledge of specific products/services line managed, usually gained through operations experience
PC literate with Microsoft Office products and the ability to learn and use multiple payment platforms and applications
Ability to learn processes for monitoring networks and payment applications
Excellent verbal and written communication
Ability to work with all levels of management and multiple business partners
Ability to multitask with competing priorities
Excellent decision-making capability
Hours are planned to be 4:00ET to 13:00ET
Payment Operations knowledge inclusive of the multiple currencies and clearings used within AMRS, EMEA and APAC
Knowledge of key payment applications such as WTX, GPP, GBS, ARIES and SEPA
Knowledge of end to end payment flows for AMRS, EMEA and APAC clearings
Experience of working with associates in multiple sites and regions
