CVS Health HP NonStop/Tandem Support Analyst in Scottsdale, Arizona

Job Description

CVS Health is currently hiring a Support Analyst to join our HP NonStop/Tandem team to support our Pharmacy Benefit Management business. In this exciting and high impact role, you will maintain and develop code as needed to support the communications and monitoring infrastructure for the HP NonStop systems.

The HP NonStop system handles all claims adjudication for our PBM line of business. Strong candidates will have the ability to work with internal and external customers to communicate changes and improvements i the system, as well as partner with customers to create new connections.

In this challenging role, you will...

  • Be responsible for support of the product life cycle from development through production.

  • Maintain and make improvements to the HP NonStop systems to meet and exceed customer needs

  • Have high level of skill with testing and troubleshooting.

  • Be able to observe and retain site specific information with little to no assistance.

  • Possess great customer service skills with external partners.

  • Participate in on-call rotation with team to provide system support.

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum of 5 years HP NonStop/Tandem experience.

  • Candidate must be fluent in the following:

  • HP Nonstop COBOL (one-off programs), some HP NonStop SCOBOL


  • HP NonStop C language (will need new development, C++ is not required)

  • SQL/MP

Preferred Qualifications

Prior experience in the following strongly preferred:

  • pTAL

  • iTP WebServer (native)

  • SOAP

  • HTML on HP NonStop

  • SSL on HP NonStop


High school diploma or equivalent required.
