CVS Health Finance Analyst - Medicare Part D in Scottsdale, Arizona
As a Med D Finance Senior Coordinator, you will support CVS Heath’s Medicare Part D Premium Billing Organization. This individual will be responsible for receiving and making daily Good Cause determinations in accordance with the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) guidelines. Assignments will then be delegating to the team. This position will also be responsible for complex and escalated tasks, which may require outreach to beneficiaries. To be successful in this role, you must be able to gather and synthesize information from different systems, provide clear and concise communication for final resolution, work diligently on assigned tasks with minimal supervision, reach across boundaries to assist and obtain information from other departments, and raise escalations as needed to ensure a smooth and positive experience for our Medicare D members. The ideal candidate brings forth high levels of reliability, professionalism, customer focus, and team orientation.
1+ years of experience using MS Word and Excel.
1+ years of experience in finance, billing, or a related field, with a preference for AR, billing, payment application, databases, or reconciliation.
Ability to pay close attention to detail and be able to work successfully in the highly regulated environment of Medicare Part D.
Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills are a must. Candidate must be able to respond in a positive, proactive, and timely manner regarding potential account reconciliation issues or discrepancies.
Demonstrated ability to problem solve operational and financial issues.
Be well organized and able to work successfully under pressure handling high workload volume.
Background in Medicare D or other highly regulated government programs.
Experience with problem solving and process improvement initiatives.
Familiarity with banking and credit card regulations.
Experience with SAP, Oracle, or related financial systems.
Advanced Excel experience (building templates, aggregating and presenting data).
- Verifiable High School Diploma or GED required.
