Cloud Architect

Key Role:

Conduct systems analysis and programming activities for the development, maintenance, or installation of computer programs to support internal business operations. Apply knowledge of Cloud-specific technologies and services to support Cloud architectural constructs, and maintain responsibility of Cloud environments. Apply basic principles, theories, and concepts to job assignments on a limited basis. Conduct closely managed work that involves limited problem-solving, including following standardized practices and procedures. Interface with the supervisor or manager and other professionals in the work group.

Basic Qualifications:

-Experience in an administrator or engineer role

-Experience with establishing, deploying, and monitoring Cloud-based application environments

-Experience with multiple operating systems, including UNIX- and Windows-based operating systems

-Experience with managing applications in commercial Cloud providers, including Amazon Web Services (AWS) or Microsoft Azure

-Experience with providing patch or vulnerability management for DoD applications in the Cloud environment

-Secret clearance

-BS degree

Additional Qualifications:

-Experience with managing Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS), Platform as a Service (PaaS), and Software as a Service (SaaS) Cloud-based managed system program solution activities

-Experience with Agile software development methodology

-BS degree in CS, Statistics, Mathematics, or Engineering, preferred

-Cloud Certification, preferred

Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; Secret clearance is required.
