The Hospitality & Workplace Services function includes all aspects of supporting the organization’s facilities, hoteling and reservation services, videoconferencing set up and support and other internal meeting services. The H&WS Supervising Associate develops and participates in the implementation of H&WS strategic plans, as well as in establishing and maintaining performance measurements for a customer base of 250-650 employees. Assists with operational performance in accordance with established parameters, and must understand the structure and business of the organization to effectively manage the firm’s knowledge, processes and capital resources, including space and equipment.
Promotes an understanding of Enterprise Support Services (ESS) goals and contributions to secure necessary support from others to achieve business unit goals.
Coordinates and supervises the daily activities of the Hospitality & Workplace Services function in an assigned location or multiple locations
Manages team of up to 15 employees
H&WS responsibilities include all aspects of building facilities, office moves, space assignment, equipment, supplies and customer experience
Focuses on potential project issues to prioritize resources, timing, quality, scope and risk
Coordinates resources to meet short-term objectives
Will assist with budgeting activities and responsible for operating within approved budget
Must meet or exceed the needs of our internal clients by partnering with other groups within the matrix organization, cultivating those relationships, aligning people and processes, and identifying workplace efficiencies to add value.
May recommend solutions and partner with senior leaders in the firm to roll-out or communicate initiatives/projects
Excellent communications and customer service skills
Attention to detail and strong organizational skills are essential
Project management experience
Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
Ability to work and communicate with all levels within the firm
Must be experienced with all Microsoft Office Tools
Requires minimal supervision
To qualify, candidates must have:
Bachelor's degree in a related discipline, or equivalent work experience required
Approximately 6-8 years of related experience
2+ years of experience managing people
