The Digital Account Opening (DAO) team, which is the digital origination platform arm of Chase Digital, is seeking a highly organized and motivated ED, Digital Design Project Manager to help build out the end-to-end digital account opening experience. In this role, the candidate will be instrumental in helping to drive Chase’s evolving online and mobile experience to enable customers to shop, apply, and set up their products and services easily from the convenience of wherever they are and however they choose.
This role will be responsible for managing the design process end-to-end across the platform to deliver medium to large scale, complex projects and initiatives from initiation through post implementation and providing overall direction for requirements, priorities and deadlines as well as organizing, building and directing the activities of project teams to ensure quality and timeliness of project completion. You will resolve project conflicts with affected management and resolve any other process and project issues to ensure that projects are completed according to time and budget schedules and the objectives conform to Agile and Waterfall standards to meet partner needs.
Considering the geographically distributed nature of the DAO team and its stakeholders (New York, Delaware, Columbus, and San Francisco), the candidate should have the ability to effectively navigate and manage stakeholders across multiple organization and sites. The ideal candidate is a structured, highly-organized individual who can flexibly adapt plans for changing realities, has superior collaboration and communication skills, and understands the design process.
Key Responsibilities Include:
Manage multiple projects simultaneously
Clearly communicate project scope and details to senior executives as well as project team and stakeholders
Own a master calendar of design deadlines across the platform
Actively manage risks and issues to properly identify escalate and drive to resolution
Deliver weekly progress updates to leadership
Lead business resources to deliver projects on time and with quality
Partner closely with Product Managers and Program Managers as well as Technology to provide required support to achieve project goals
10+ years of project management involving complex business, operations and technology delivery with a focus on design and content
Consumer Banking and/or Business Banking experience a plus
Experience in delivery of large scale IT focused projects
Strong relationship management skills
Strong analytical skills, leadership skills, communication skills, SharePoint and writing skills
Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office products
