Bank of America Commercial Support Specialist-GCB, Middle Market Banking-San Francisco in San Francisco, California

Job Description:

Responsible for supporting the Sales, Client Management and Compliance/Operational processes for multiple GCB Middle Market client teams. Position reports to Sales Support Manager and has primary responsibility for supporting GCB RMs. This includes ongoing interaction with clients within the context of the relationship plan, identifies unmet client needs, and supports achievement of team or market goals in client delight and retention, risk mitigation, and revenue growth. Position acts as escalation contact for many service-related issues arising out of various bank departments that touch the client. Develops, participates and/or presents client presentations/pitchbooks and other marketing materials. Delivers financial, industry and economic analysis to support client selection and prospecting activities. Responsibilities include ensuring client relationship data integrity on internal systems of record, and leading or coordinating Client Management Process (CMP) activities. Prior experience interaction with business clients is a plus, but not required. Possesses a strong client focus and a strong awareness and understanding of the bank and operational aspects of the products and services used by clients. Must also possess good interpersonal, communication, presentation, and organization skill

Required Skills:

  • Prior experience with business clients is a plus, but not required. Excellent interpersonal, communication, presentation, organization and PC skills. Proven ability to multi-task and balance competing demands of multiple internal partners. Most qualified candidates possess a combination of general banking knowledge, leadership skills, critical thinking, and the ability to connect analytical work to the client needs and strategic objectives.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills a must.

  • Strong organizational skills, ability to execute tasks and projects efficiently and meet deadlines.

  • Proficient with Microsoft programs including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.  

Desired Skills:

  • Familiarity with bank products, services, operations, systems, policies, procedures for business/corporate clients.

  • Undergraduate degree and /or experience in Accounting, Finance or related field preferred
