Prudential Financial VP, Business Intelligence-Financial Wellness in Roseland, New Jersey
The Vice President, Business Intelligence will define and execute the Business Intelligence strategy for Financial Wellness. The VP, Business Intelligence will be responsible for providing thought leadership to guide strategic and operational decisions-making for Financial Wellness.
Partner with Financial Wellness leaders and functional leaders to derive business insights from data and translate those insights into actionable business recommendations.
Develop and drive adoption of business intelligence tools across the organization to enhance business decision-making capabilities.
Define and mature the vision and strategy for the Financial Wellness aligned with WSG’s business intelligence guiding principle.
Anticipate needs of leadership, business partners and customers through strong working relationships and coordination with business leadership and the WSG business strategy team.
Efficiently navigate the Prudential organization to assemble and summarize internal information in order to synthesize complex client / partner data into executive summaries and recommendations where applicable
Propose recommendations or standardization of processes to improve ease of access and flexibility of data while reducing the cost of operations.
Prepare research summaries and ad hoc reports on various business items requested by executives: topics to include client business priorities, pension / retirement income and investments, insurance and annuities, etc.
10 years of progressive leadership experience leveraging data for business decisions.
5 years of statistical analysis, quantitative analytics, and/or forecasting/predicting analytics.
5 years of insurance or financial services experience.
Bachelor’s degree required and MBA desirable.
Experience with business intelligence tools, such as Tableau, salesforce.com, Informatica, Business Objects, Cognos, etc.
Demonstrated ability to discover insights and identifies opportunities through the use of statistical, algorithmic mining and visualization techniques.
Experience engaging with C-suite and external customers.
Demonstrated track record of effective working relationships with executives and key business partners to drive change agendas.
Demonstrated strategic thinking abilities and enterprise-wide perspective.
Experience leading through influence in a large, matrixed environment.
Have working knowledge of each U.S. business unit’s business, distribution, products and markets (includes Retirement, PGIM, Group Insurance, Annuities and Individual Life Insurance).
