Cybersecurity Engineer, Senior

Key Role:

Analyze the development and implementation of computer security and IT policies. Provide technical engineering services for the support of integrated security systems and solutions. Interface with the client in the strategic design process to translate security and business requirements into technical designs. Configure and validate secure complex systems and test security products and systems to detect security weaknesses. Provide work leadership to junior employees. This position is located in Rome, NY.

Basic Qualifications:

-8+ years of experience with computer security information assurance

-Experience with Microsoft Windows and Office

-Experience with maintaining spreadsheets and databases and preparing presentations

-Active Secret clearance

-BA or BS degree

-DoD 8570.01M IAM Level II Certification, including CAP, GSLC, or CISSP within 6 months of hire

Additional Qualifications:

-Experience with DCID 6/3, Protecting Sensitive Compartmented Information within Information Systems, ICD 503, Information Technology Systems Security Risk Management, and Certification and Accreditation (C&A)

-Knowledge of DoD Risk Management Framework (RMF)

-Ability to pay strict attention to detail preferred

-Possession of excellent organizational skills

-Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills

Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; Secret clearance is required.
