Lockheed Martin System Integration and Test Engineer Senior in Robins Air Force Base, Georgia

Description: As part of the Simulation and Systems Integration Labs within the Labs and Technical Services organization, the selected candidate will assist C-5 Program users and customers with software development and system integration in the C-5 System Integration and Engineering Simulation Labs. The selected candidate will configure the labs and help setup avionics test equipment including Government Furnished Equipment(GFE), have knowledge of and an understand of aircraft and lab wiring diagrams, use C-5 peculiar lab test equipment, use his/her working knowledge of the simulation environment and test equipment analyzers to troubleshoot and resolve problems and/or collect data for users. The selected candidate will also define test environments and requirements, and be responsible for the execution of test procedures. The selected candidate will interface with external customers at an external site. The selected candidate will perform lab venue setup, test execution, test analysis, test documentation, and troubleshooting of customer tests and lab venue issues. The selected candidate will provide test results, analysis information, and troubleshooting information to the C-5 Program, customers and Labs and Technical Services teams.

To meet program needs, the selected candidate must be willing to work flexible schedules when required to support lab development and integration activities. On occasions, the odd shifts could include nights and/or weekends.

The selected candidate must be willing to travel occasionally within the United States if required to meet program needs. Work may be performed in Marietta GA on occasion.

Must be a US Citizen. This position is located at a facility that requires special access and will require a Secret security clearance.

Desired Skills: Ideal candidate will have 5 years of software integration experience in a development environment.

Experience working in a real-time simulation and systems integration environment is desirable.

ITT scripting knowledge is also desirable.


Bachelor's degree in electrical or Computer Science field.

Experience working with C-5 Avionics and Systems.

Experience with avionics test equipment.

Experience working in a simulation lab environment.

Experience in execution of test procedures.

Experience defining test environments and requirements.
