Job Description

The Advisor, Quality Assurance (EDW PBM) will be responsible for: Excellent Verbal and Written communication skills. Provides expert Advisory input during requirements and design phases that assist in developing business solutions. Expert knowledge and hands on experience with Teradata SQL14.0 assistant. Expert and hands on knowledge of Informatica Power Center 9.5 and 9.6's client tools such as designer, workflow manager, workflow monitor, SQL query tool. Provides technical analysis against business requirements that ensure delivery of a quality solution. Creates or advises others on testing strategies. Instruct others to develop SME knowledge. Utilize automated testing tools. Employ quality processes such as defect issue reporting, SDLC/ISO 9000/CMMI. Establish and ensure adherence to quality assurance testing process, standards, guidelines and methodologies. Perform complex data profiling techniques using Informatica Analyst 9.6 and Informatica Developer 9.6.1. Maintaining / enhancing / debugging EDW regression and automation components in CA Lisa Dev/Test Workstation ver 9.0. Well versed with understanding of java, classes, object oriented programming, debugging and enhancing existing code scripts using Eclipse 4.4. Create automation scripts in Basic Teradata Query {BTEQ) and assist other employees to in using scripts against Source to Target Mapping (STTM) and Informatica. Demonstrate a mastery in multiple application area(s) and a thorough understanding of platforms/applications or software product used by a PBM, with knowledge of two (2) or more functionalities such as Eligibility, Adjudication, Drug Pricing, etc. Working knowledge of Serena Dimension ver 12.2. l or higher. Working knowledge of Micro Focus Serena Business Manager. Expert in testing Infoworks 2.2.0, HIVE 14.0 and Oracle Log Miner. Well versed in testing data ingestion jobs, pipelines, cubes, debugging and validating Microstrategy reports. Will be required to work weekends every other month and as needed.

Required Qualifications

A Master's degree or foreign equivalent in Engineering, Computer Science, IS, or closely related technical field and 3 years of experience in data and functional QA testing in a large scale data warehousing environment, including 3 years of experience with overseeing testing aspects of a technical project; using BTEQ or SQL scripting; testing Enterprise data warehouse applications; and writing test plans, test cases, and test strategies required. Will accept a Bachelor's degree and 6 years of experience in lieu of a Master's degree and 3 years of experience. Must apply by 09/16/18.
