Cyber Analyst, Junior

Key Role:

Monitor, analyze, and detect Cyber events and incidents within information systems and networks under limited supervision. Maintain Responsibilities and participate in testing, deploying, and administering the infrastructure hardware and software required to help manage the organization’s Cybersecurity operational services effectively. Review and maintain the suite of Cybersecurity documents as necessary. Consulting on the assessment of the effectiveness of an organization’s IT security and privacy training program, including consulting on social engineering exercises to ensure training remains consistent with current Cybersecurity and privacy threats and policies, and assist in achieving full compliance with laws and regulations.

Basic Qualifications:

-1+ years of experience with IT networking

-1+ years of experience in a DoD network environment

-Secret clearance

-BA or BS degree

-IAT Level II Certification, including Security+

Additional Qualifications:

-Experience with the mission critical procedures, systems, and processes for public naval shipyards’ IT and Cybersecurity requirements

-Knowledge of Assessment and Authorization (A&A)

-Knowledge of IA or INFOSEC concepts and requirements and DoD C&A process and standards

-Knowledge of vulnerability remediation asset manager (VRAM) activities
