Develops, enhances, debugs, supports, maintains and tests software applications that support business units or supporting functions. These application program solutions may involve diverse development platforms, software, hardware, technologies and tools. Participates in the design, development and implementation of complex applications, often using new technologies. May provide technical direction and system architecture for individual initiatives. Serves as a fully seasoned/proficient technical resource. Will not have direct reports but may lead projects and direct activities of a team related to special initiatives or operations. May have responsibility for a project and project budget. May collaborate with external programmers to coordinate delivery of software application. Routine accountability is for technical knowledge and capabilities. Works under minimal supervision, with general guidance from more seasoned consultants.

  • Responsible for integration and implementation.

  • Provides feedback for continuous process improvement.

  • Support Business Partners during System Integration Testing, User Acceptance Testing.

Required Skills:

  • Proficient in mainframe technologies such as COBOL,JCL, DB2,VSAM

  • Should possess strong knowledge on tools like Endevor, IBM File Manager, SPUFI, QMF, NDM, IBM Workload Scheduler.

  • Good Analysis, design and test/validation skills to go along with expert technical skills

  • Strong analytical, organizational and problem solving skills

  • Being able to prioritize the tasks at hand and Multi-Task

  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills

  • Ability to be flexible to changing requirements

  • Be able to establish and maintain positive and effective work relationships with team members and tech/business partners

Desired Skills:

  • Prior work experience in Financial Industry and have business knowledge on the wealth management concepts is a big plus for the role.
