JPMorgan Chase Corporate - Forecasting & Capital Solutions, Business Analytics and Data Analysis – Associate in Plano, Texas

Forecasting and Capital Solutions is a new group within the Office of the CFO, responsible for the execution of a cohesive end-to-end analytic strategy across the firm’s $2.5 trillion dollar balance sheet by forecasting, stress testing, and utilizing bank capital analytic tools with the goal of refining and growing JPMorgan Chase’s suite of financial management capabilities. The group works with every Line of Business, partnering with Finance, Risk and Technology teams.

The Platforms and Standards team within Forecasting and Capital Solutions defines the end-to-end solution & data architecture and delivery of scalable technology platforms across Forecasting and Capital. The function drives innovation, integration, and adherence to consistent standards and a unified client experience.

The group currently has oversight over 3 key forecasting and capital tools:

  • F3 is an enterprise-wideforecasting and analytical platform that aims to provide a one-stop shopfor forecasting and analytics, with robust controls and oversightby integrating estimations with authoritative data sources and anenriched advanced analytics layer

  • Capital Desktop is a centralplatform for RWA actuals computation, including data collection,calculations, operational workflow, manual adjustments, reporting &analytics for Capital Management, LOB Controllers, Risk, and CP&A

  • Neutron is an integratedcalculation engine, which handles aggregation, consolidation, validationand reporting for Capital Stress Testing

The position involves supporting group’s senior management in several initiatives across the organization, including Business Units, Corporate finance functions, capital management office and technology.

The ability to work efficiently and communicate effectively across these boundaries will be one of the keys to success.

Job Summary

Partnering with both Forecasting and Capital Services teams and Technology, the Platforms team will lead the delivery of a best of breed technology infrastructure and the adherence to consistent standards that optimize the unified customer experience, the scalability of solutions and the customer satisfaction across LOB businesses and Finance.

This associate position focuses specifically in business analytics and data analysis, and will be responsible to:

  • Perform business analysisacross forecasting and capital services and drive technologyimplementation in the corresponding infrastructure that is in-line with clientneeds and under an uniform product vision

  • Partner with key stakeholders:

  • Business users to understandcapital and forecasting services requirements and assist in delivery ofsolution that is linked to specific business needs

  • Capital and Forecasting Servicesto identify and relay common capabilities as part of end-to-end platformoffering

  • Forecasting Controls toidentify best practices and controls to be included in standards

  • Technology to ensure tools arebeing develop or enhanced with full understanding of businessrequirements and user feedback

  • Analyze and monitor successcriteria, KPIs, trends and risk/opportunities for both short and long termtargets

  • Monitor sprints on an ongoingbasis, evaluating progress and quality, managing issue resolution andtaking corrective action as necessary

  • Develop presentations tostakeholders across LOBs, Finance, and Technology

  • 5+ years of businessanalysis experience required.

  • 3+ years ofproject management experience desired. Must be able to scope project modulesusing Agile methodologies/best practices and execute against them

  • Experience in the FinancialServices industry is required

  • Bachelor’s degree in BusinessAdministration, Management, and Information Science field. Advanced degreeis a plus

  • Strong understanding of financeinfrastructure and multi-dimensional financial systems

  • Regulatory knowledge is a plus(CCAR, BASEL, DFAST, etc.)

  • Excellent verbal and writtencommunication skills, and can collaborate with peers and stakeholdersacross all seniority levels

  • Excellent attention to detailand ability to document and analyze detailed business requirements, andarticulate clearly to technology partners

  • Proven ability to lead acrossLOBs, functions and geographies. Strong interpersonal skills with a focuson service

  • Able to perform under pressureand within tight deadlines in a varied, fast-paced environment

  • Exhibits flexibility andadaptability to change direction based upon team and stakeholders’consensus

  • Strong sense of ownership, anddesire to deliver high quality tools to stakeholders

  • Strong PC skills, including MSPower Point, MS Excel and MS Access

  • Proficiency in Tableau, SQL, isa plus
