The JPMC Learning Operations Center of Excellence (COE) is a newly formed centralized team that is part of shared learning services that measurably modernize, simplify and provide a consistent end-to-end learning experience for employees and learning professionals. The Operations COE brings together the functions that utilizes the firm wide learning management system to create courses and assigns training, in addition to coordinating any of the logistics associated with the learning, and resolves any issues impacting employees from registering for and completing training.

The Learning Operations COE is looking to hire a Licensing Coordinator who will be responsible for supporting the Investment Licensing Training Program (Series 6, 63 and Life Insurance) for the licensed roles in the retail branches. Reporting the Licensing Coordinator Team Lead, the Licensing Coordinator supports, assists, and monitors assigned candidates through the Licensing Training Program by:

  • Actively supporting and assisting approximately 75 - 100 candidates as they progress through the Licensing Training Program

  • Coordinating the licensing registration process (new hire packets) for assigned bankers and following-up to ensure completion of required activities within the time frame allowed

  • Assisting bankers with completion of required securities licensing paperwork, U4s, and insurance licensing paperwork

  • Assisting Team Leads with scheduling licensing exam dates for bankers

  • Assisting Team Leads with monitoring banker progress throughout the licensing training program, identifying bankers who do not meet expectations (e.g. low test scores, behind schedule, etc.)

  • Assisting bankers with accessing the tools and resources available to support the banker through the licensing program

  • Responding promptly to bankers’ questions or concerns dealing with any aspect of the licensing training program, policies and procedures, etc. Follow up as needed with retail management team; escalating issues to their Licensing Coordinator Team Lead when appropriate

  • Updating banker records in the licensing training program tracking/reporting tool

  • Working with learning management system and other systems as required

  • Monitoring and completing periodic checks that licensing site PCs work, have an adequate number of workstations are available for the scheduled bankers, other office supplies are in supply, etc.

  • Take on additional duties in broader training coordination team that assist in the communication, enrollment, scheduling or reporting of employee training as needed


  • Knowledge of licensing process (Licensing paperwork, U4, series 6/63 exam scheduling, life insurance process, etc.) preferred

  • Attention to detail, highly organized, manage time effectively and be proactive

  • Comfortable communicating with Bankers, Branch Managers, Market Directors, etc.; prior branch banking experience preferred

  • Excellent problem-solving skills, ability to multitask, prioritize and meet critical due dates.

  • Excellent written and oral communication skills, ability to communicate effectively with several levels of management and associates

  • PC skills including MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
