Job Description

Healthcare is a transforming industry due to legislative and regulatory demands, technology challenges, and societal trends. Our growing Health Industries Advisory team provides strategy, management, technology and risk consulting services to help healthcare institutions around the world to anticipate and address their most complex business challenges.

Our practitioners are supported by a dedicated health research unit, which is managed by a physician partner and provides our clients with cutting-edge intelligence, perspective, and analysis on issues transforming the health industry. Our professionals have deep health industry expertise and include physicians, nurses, system specialists, health policy analysts, actuaries, financial advisors, and data analysts. The Health Industries Advisory team includes the following sectors: Health Services

  • Payer/Provider, Pharmaceuticals and Life Sciences

  • Suppliers and Innovators/New Entrants.

This high performing team helps clients define their

information strategy, architecture and governance, get the most value from business intelligence and analytics, and implement enterprise content and data management solutions to enable business insights, reduce cost and complexity, increase trust and integrity, and improve operational effectiveness.

Position/Program Requirements

Minimum Year(s) of Experience: 1 Min of 1 year with having 1-2 years experience and preferred 1-2 years of prior consulting experience serving healthcare clients from Deloitte, Accenture, ZS, IA or other similar consulting firm.

Minimum Degree Required: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or any MIS related field.

Knowledge Preferred:

Demonstrates some knowledge and/or a proven record of success in the Health Industry sector including the following areas:

  • Developing Health industry common data models such as OMOP;

  • Developing Interoperability frameworks such as FHIR;

  • Differentiating between business capability, technical capability, and technical solutions;

  • Possessing deep specialization in either Analytics Enablement, Data Integration, or Data Governance;

  • Having experience with data discovery such as Sinequa, Solr, or Ontoforces is a plus; and,

  • Leading small Agile teams, scrum master certification is a plus.

Skills Preferred:

Demonstrates some abilities and/or a proven record of success as both an individual contributor and team member, identifying and addressing client needs in the following areas:

  • Showcasing technical architecture skills in the data space;

  • Working with offshore teams to manage/communicate project requirements and delivery effectively;

  • Possessing experience with data modeling/architecture and modern data integration approaches such as Presto, Spark, Glue etc.;

  • Working with cloud and on/premise cloud enabled data/analytics solution enablement;

  • Leveraging cloud-first Integration technologies such as MuleSoft, and InterSystems; and,

  • Having experience with Agile development and delivery.
