Job Description:

Scope

Accountable for team-level contributions in technical systems and software support for modification, implementation, or conversion of business systems.

Responsible for large technology projects or multiple small or medium sized ones.

Work Oversight

Leads a team in defining strategies for technical solutions, determining requirements, and developing functional designs based on the analysis of line of business needs, objectives and existing systems infrastructure.

Responsible for the development, maintenance and support of multiple systems or applications including their ongoing service delivery and/or operation.

Acts as a liaison between business unit and software and hardware developers and vendors.

Resource Oversight

May provide input on performance management and personnel decisions.

As appropriate, contributes to budget and forecast activities, monitors team progress, and works with Team Manager to adjust resource allocations and priorities accordingly.

Responsible for instructing, directing, and reviewing the work of other associates, contractors, and strategic partner resources that are part of their team.

Position Summary

  • Provides technical systems and software support for modification, implementation, or conversion of business systems. Translates business needs into technical requirements and ensures all systems support and conform to business needs and specifications. Acts as liaison between business unit and software/hardware developers and vendors. Aware of business or function for which application or system is designed.

Required Skills

  • 5-7 years experience with Technical System Analysis and Business Analysis skills.

  • Experience assisting Project Managers and acting as a Lead Scrum Master for a technology group

  • Able to lead JAD sessions and Agile Daily Standup meetings.

  • Able to organize, articulate, and document requirements.

  • Proven ability to create technical design documents and UML Diagrams, such as Sequence Diagrams and Activity Diagrams.

  • Familiar with workflow applications.

  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills

  • Knowledge of Brokerage Industry and Financial Services.

  • Experienced Scrum Master.
