Program Manager Lead

The Challenge:

Your ability to translate real-world needs into technical specifications, makes you an integral part of delivering a customer focused engineering solution.

In this role, you will shape the customer's mission by providing expertise on mine warfare and unmanned underwater vehicles for the US Navy. Your customer will trust you to not only design and develop these systems, but also evolve them with advanced technology solutions. On our team you'll be able to broaden your skillset into areas like electronics and electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, computer engineering, and Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) for US Navy ship systems and related platforms. Grow your skills by merging capture and proposal manager duties to build business by solving the client’s difficult problems. Attend face-to-face meetings with government client teams. Employ knowledge of DoD contracts, FAR, and DFAR, including the management of vendors and subcontractors to create proposals and win additional business. You Have:

-10+ years of experience with managing DoD government contracts

-10+ years of experience with US Navy mine warfare and underwater systems

-Active Secret clearance

-BS degree in Mechanical, Electrical or Software Engineering, Systems Engineering, or Software Systems Engineering

Nice If You Have:

-Experience with established relationships with NSWC PCD and associated sponsors

-Knowledge of Navy special warfare and LCS

-Knowledge of the DoD program’s full life cycle process, including design and development and technology readiness level milestones

-Knowledge of integrated logistics support, including RCM, tech manuals, ECP process, and configuration management

-Knowledge of government cost accounting principles

-Knowledge of production and manufacturing concepts and principles in a DoD environment

-Knowledge of unmanned undersea vehicles

-Ability to manage quality control functions using AS9100 processes and procedures and direct interfaces between contractor, subcontractor, and government personnel and activities

-MA or MS degree

-PMI and PMP Certification
