J.P. Morgan Chase is seeking talented leaders for the position of Director of Product for our Commercial Real Estate group (CRE) for Digital Banking. We are looking for a seasoned business executive to run the business and operations of Commercial Real Estate Digital Banking unit, reporting to the MD of Digital Banking.
The position will be responsible for ensuring execution of the unit’s business goals. They will collaborate with key internal and external stakeholders to develop Digital growth plan, assess market needs and changes, define the channel and partnership plan, evaluate new Digital products and services and refine go-to-market strategies using the Digital platform. Projects will include extensive collaboration across the lines of business, functional areas as well as external to the firm.
In this role, you are responsible for setting up and ensuring successful execution of the financial and business goals of Digital Banking for CRE.
You will be responsible for the Digital Banking for CRE unit’s budgets, operations and contract negotiations to ensure efficiency and optimization of the units functions.
You are an entrepreneurial leader who will partner with the CRE Sales, Marketing and Business Development leadership to ensure that Digital Banking initiatives and projects support and grow the firm’s CRE business.
You will be responsible for business development and creation of an ecosystem of partners and channels that will grow the Digital platform driven revenue opportunities , provide synergistic business value to our existing CRE client base and open new business opportunities
You consistently look for opportunities to initiate and implement technology partnerships to automate the business and accelerate adoption of innovative technologies.
You take a leadership role in evaluating potential Fintech companies for strategic partnerships or acquisitions by establishing advisory relationships with key internal stakeholders and partnering with teams across JPMC on firmwide Digital initiatives. You evaluate and assess acquisition targets making build/buy/partner recommendations to augment firm’s Digital capabilities
You recruit, manage and mentor junior resources to maximize performance and potential without compromising the firm’s values
Professional Experience and Skills Required:
Demonstrated track record of success in leading large and complex cross functional, cross organizational business initiatives amidst ambiguity and change.
Proven end-to-end problem-solving skills with the ability to solve large, complex business problems, obtain consensus and drive organizational transformation.
15+ years of total professional experience including leading projects at an internal consulting/corporate strategy team or a premier management consulting firm.
Effective use of business knowledge and technical expertise to challenge assumptions and operating models coming from experience in strategy, product management and go to market at large organizations
Experience in product management and launch of enterprise grade software products.
Analysis and recommendation on product direction, strategic partnerships, M&A Strategy , setup and enablement of partner ecosystem
Successful track record demonstrating a high level of personal initiative, setting and achieving challenging goals and demonstrating entrepreneurial leadership within large enterprises and startups to resolve diverse business challenges.
Ability to interact with colleagues at all levels, especially senior executives, work through influence across functional boundaries to achieve goals without direct control over resources. Deliver results while coaching and mentoring other team members
Ability to negotiate business contracts and build alliances with a win-win mindset
Experience in large software firms building products and leading cross functional launch initiatives is preferable
Experience at a VC funded startup is seen as a strong plus.
Excellent written and oral communication skills and strong relationship building across the organization
Passion for building something new, working across boundaries to drive change and helping others succeed.
MBA from Top Tier University/Business School
BS in Computer Science or Engineering in a related discipline
