Lockheed Martin Windows System Administrator in Orlando, Florida
Description: This 1st shift position is for a Compliance and Windows Admin team member. Emphasis will be on Compliance and Windows Administration with opportunities to learn and grow in any number of other Front Line Support roles and domains. Will work in an organization geared toward virtual support and collaboration across geographically dispersed teams in different time zones.
Support will eventually include on-call and weekend support responsibilities for Windows Server.
Responsibilities will also include working with ServiceNow (our chosen tool for incident, problem, and change tracking), collaborating with team members and customers of widely varying skillsets, and interfacing with team and technical leads as well as with management. This role will open up various task, technical, and/or team leadership skills. Over time, this role will gradually add Linux Admin responsibilities.
- Compliance Support Responsibilities:
--- Maintaining and helping to enforce security policies
--- Helping Business Areas with vulnerability questions and issues
--- Participating in Sarbanes-Oxley ("SOX") and other compliance audit efforts
--- Facilitating and providing automation (including scripting) to improve efficiency for auditing and server admin activities
--- Interfacing with Corporate Information Security (CIS), audit, and internal personnel on any of the above
-Server, Incident, and Problem Management Support Responsibilities:
--- Collaborating with agile development and fellow front line support team members
--- Administering and working Incident and Problem records
--- Administering and implementing Change Requests
--- Assisting in the administration and implementation of vulnerability patching
--- Participating in 24X7 On Call rotation
--- Participating in annual Disaster Recovery compliance tests and drills
--- Participating in Windows Server compliance tasks and roles such as audits
--- Developing and utilizing scripting skills for automation, reporting, or other needs
--- Fundamental understanding of Windows Server environments, both physical and virtual (including any prior work, vocational, college, and/or internship experience)
--- Prior school or work experience doing admin type work with one or more IT technologies such as operating systems, relational databases, storage, middleware, networking, security, or hardware support in real and virtual environments
--- Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related discipline
--- Basic usage knowledge of any major office product suite
--- Knowledge and experience with Windows configuration tools such as BladeLogic, Qualys (EVAN Scans), Snow, SPLUNK, or others.
--- Fundamental understanding of Compliance (Sarbanes-Oxley, internal auditing, external auditing, etc) a plus
--- Light scripting skills a plus
--- Basic understanding of DevOps and Agile Development concepts a plus
--- Basic understanding of ITIL concepts and tools, and/or functional understanding of ServiceNow applications or similar tools a plus
--- Certification in any of the above not required, but would be a plus
--- Good written and oral communications skills
--- Ability to work on an off shift schedule for emergency and surge support needs
--- Ability to participate in 24X7 on-call and emergency support roles
--- Ability to shadow experienced team members to learn tasks and build skills
