Assists in the development of detailed independent evaluations in the establishment of total program estimates of costs and profits. Compiles cost, schedule, and technical elements in the development of independent evaluations for proposals in accordance with request for proposal (RFP) specifications. Coordinates the collection and accumulation of cost, scheduling, and performance elements from functional departments. Researches and analyzes historical data, develops cost models to support proposal efforts. Coordinates activities and participates in fact-finding meetings. Participates in should-cost and pricing reviews with management and customer representatives. Participates and/or provides independent evaluations of specific programs in support of quarterly Contract Status Reviews (CSR). Contributes to the completion of organizational projects and goals by performing tasks requiring discretion and general knowledge of programs and systems. Develops solutions to a variety of problems of moderate scope and complexity. Refers to policies and practices for guidance. Represents the ICE Team on specific projects, teams. Helps improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the ICE Team.
Basic Qualifications At least 4 years of directly related experience on major commercial or defense programs. Experience with and knowledge in administration, budgeting, planning, report preparation in business organizations. Demonstrated expertise in the use of computers and their related business software. Frequent internal company and external contacts. Prefer technical background or willingness to understand technical complexities and the cost or risk they represent.
Desired skills Works under very general supervision. Work is reviewed for soundness of judgement and overall adequacy and accuracy. Combination of Engineering and Business degrees preferred. Advanced degree(s) are desired.
