CVS Health Training Specialist – Coram Revenue Cycle in Orlando, Florida

Job Description

The Training Specialist will be responsible for supporting employee performance in accordance with established operational quality standards within all Revenue Cycle functions of the Coram organization. The role will also coordinate and deliver training programs across multiple departments, assess educational needs, and advocate for education opportunities. This Training Specialist role will allow the individual to directly affect the training, coaching, and development of hundreds of employees who support CVS Health in the Infusion Accounts Receivable space.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintains ongoing training and educational opportunities for employees in coordination with all State and Federal regulations and in areas that would improve employee development and improve capabilities

  • Works with department leadership to audit accounts, transactions, and all related operations across the Revenue Cycle using the established formats to evaluate for quality and accuracy against predetermined expectations

  • Develops and maintains “super user” capabilities in technology applications and all other related information systems, tools, technologies, and processes; assists other employees as needed to ensure all tools are fully utilized to create an efficient and effective department

  • Focuses on attaining daily productivity standards, recommending new approaches for enhancing performance and productivity when appropriate

  • Complies with and adheres to all regulatory compliance areas, policies and procedures, and "leading practices"

  • Communicates and markets education programs to a broad target audience using appropriate methods based on identified/assessed needs

Required Qualifications

  • 1+ years of MS Office experience

  • 1+ total years of experience in any of the following

  • Revenue Cycle

  • Medical Billing

  • Infusion Services

  • Business Support Services

  • Training & Education

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior experience in and/or understanding of several functions within healthcare Revenue Cycle, including Patient Access and PFS (Patient Financial Services)

  • Clear understanding of the impact training and education has on Revenue Cycle operations and financial performance

  • Ability to craft, communicate, and align teams to the established departmental and corporate vision, by utilizing the capacity to simultaneously balance both big picture strategic perspective and attention to detail

  • Act as an enthusiastic coach and leader with demonstrated ability to recruit, mentor, train, and develop employees, and monitor performance

  • Dedication to treating both internal and external constituents as clients and customers, maintaining a flexible customer service approach and orientation that emphasizes service satisfaction and quality

Education

Verifiable High School Diploma or GED is required. Bachelor’s or Associate’s Degree
