Lockheed Martin Systems Test Engineer Senior Staff in Orlando, Florida

This position supports a weapons program based out of Orlando, Florida and is a member of the Systems Test & Evaluation IPT consisting of Missiles and Fire Control (MFC) and Space members.

In this role, you will lead the Component test team of 10 people.

Summary of Key Duties for this position:

• You will be responsible for Component, Subsystem, Electro-Mechanical component tests on the program.

• You will manage the planning and execution of Reliability Tests including Highly Accelerated Life Test (HALT), Accelerated Life Test (ALT), Reliability Growth Test (RGT), Radiation Environmental Tests, and Qualification Test Planning efforts for multiple subsystems.

• You will help drive completion of the test facility including test chambers and, control room

• You will travel to various customer and supplier locations.

• You must be a US citizen, will be subject to a government security investigation, and must meet eligibility requirements for an elevated clearance for access to classified information.

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree from an accredited college in Engineering or a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education

• Experience with integration and testing of hardware and systems (e.g. production, ground or flight testing, V&V (verification and validation) system; data analysis and reduction

• Familiarity with reliability testing, including Accelerated Life Test (ALT), Highly Accelerated Life Test (HALT), and Reliability Growth Test (RGT)

• Must meet eligibility requirements for an elevated clearance for access to classified information.

• Willingness and ability to travel is required

Desired Skills:

• Formal experience with planning and executing reliability testing of electrical and electro-mechanical components and subsystems (ALT, HALT, RGT)

• Currently certified or have the ability to become a Space Certified Test Conductor (CTC)

• Able to understand the entire system and the full lifecycle of the product.

• Able to oversee and participate in test planning and report preparation for the customer

• Ability to explain testing strategy, progress, and results to management & the customer,

• Knowledge and experience with qualification testing

• DOORS experience

• Familiarity or experience with LM's Automation Framework tool

• Ability to articulate complex technical issues to subordinates, peers, management, subcontractors and customers.

• Customer and supplier interface experience

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications

• Experience leading a team with the ability to proactively and efficiently engage with other functional groups to meet deliverables and program milestones
