Lockheed Martin Production, Planning and Control Intern - Orlando, FL in Orlando, Florida

Description: Will be responsible for leading a minimum of one project and participating in several others supporting the execution of the functional excellence plan for the Production, Planning and Control department at a large manufacturing facility.

Students who can work well in a teaming environment, have good organization skills and have good computer skills will be the most successful.

Basic Qualifications:

Current enrollment in an accredited Bachelors or Masters degree program in supply chain management, operations management, MIS, industrial engineering, business, or other related field.

Desired Skills:

3.0 or above GPA

Candidate must be proficient in Microsoft office and comfortable working in a detailed computer system.

Candidate must be self motivated and display initiative to get tasks completed effectively, efficiently and timely.

Candidate must have strong written and communication skills.

Knowledge of, experience with, or coursework in inventory control, materials handling and/or Lean Six Sigma principles and applications.

Experience working on projects with teams as a leader and participant or for other organizations through school or extra curricular activities.
