Sodexo is seeking a Grounds Manager 2 for a potential sale with a K-12 school system in the greater Oklahoma City metro area.

The ideal candidate will have:
A proven track record of successful Grounds Management leadership experience as demonstrated by articulated results and accomplishments;
experience as a Grounds Manager preferably in a school setting;
landscape management, pest control and project management experience;
experience working with various sport fields and courts including soccer, football, track, baseball, basketball, tennis;
have managed scheduling field use and working with local recreational teams;
exceptional customer service, relationship building and communication skills;
experience working with outside vendors and subcontractors;
strong leadership skills with a focus on staff development and team building.

At Sodexo, we offer Facilities Management positions in Corporate, Schools, Universities, Energy and Resources, Government and Agencies, Healthcare and Senior Living locations across the United States. .
Provides supervision for grounds maintenance and landscape development services at account/unit to ensure client satisfaction and retention for the Company.
Fulfills contractual obligations to the client.

-Plans projects, including defining objectives, methods, timetables and budget to support client and Sodexo strategic plan
-Supervises day-to-day work activities by delegating authority, assigning and prioritizing activities and monitoring operating standards
-Ensures compliance with all federal, state and local regulations as well as Sodexo/client policies and procedures (e.g. quality assurance, safety, operations, personnel).
-Manages the budget by controlling costs (e.g. labor, inventory, equipment, materials), complying with budget requirements and making adjustments when necessary.
-Establishes operating standards, implements quality improvements and communicates them to employees.
