The Lockheed Martin Ocala Operations facility is now hiring for a Facilities Engineer Sr.
Ocala Operations is a multi-shift manufacturing facility that build circuit cards, wiring harnesses, and electro-mechanical assemblies. The facility currently has over 1200 employees and provides products to six Missiles and Fire Control sites. Ocala specializes in both low volume high mix and high volume production that has a combination of automated processes as well as labor intensive manufacturing. Ocala Operations has a represented manufacturing workforce that is supported by a strong engineering and operations support team.
We are looking for an individual with a strong industrial construction project management background who has knowledge and work experience in the following:
Develop detailed layouts utilizing CAD (preferably MicroStation) system, field verification of drawings, organize and maintain record drawing system, coordinate with architecture/engineering firms on releases of as-built drawings.
Works on a variety of mechanical/electrical problems of moderate scope and complexity and provides solutions. Responsible for increasing reliability, determining the root cause of failure, developing corrective actions and monitoring for effectiveness.
Adherence to company policies, procedures and quality standards is expected.
Must have the required skill sets to project manage equipment installations or scheduled/unscheduled maintenance on equipment/facilities.
The applicant will be required to have computer skills and be acquainted with the complete Microsoft Office software suite.
Bachelors degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education, with 5 years of professional experience; or 3 years of professional experience with a related Masters degree. Considered career, or journey, level.
Moderate to strong computer skills, to include, Microsoft office.
Candidate must have strong communication skills, customer service orientation and be able to develop relationships with internal clients and outside vendors.
This position is located at a facility that requires the selected candidate to be a US Citizen.
Construction management or similar degree is strongly preferred. Needs to have experience in construction (light industrial / commercial) and project management.
