CVS Health Senior Manager, Strategic Implementation - Client P&L in Northbrook, Illinois
The Senior Manager of Strategic Implementation - Client P&L will lead a team (6 employees) specifically created to deliver value to our 2019 budget. This person will have significant impact to our bottom line and will be responsible for evaluating the impact of various strategies on specific clients, researching abilities to implement strategies, working with sales/account teams to communicate and roll out strategies, working with financial operations and other departments to ensure flawless implementation and execution of various profit enhancing strategies.
• The Strategy Implementation Sr. Manager will…
o Lead a team of analysts responsible for running financial models on specific clients to evaluate the benefit of a variety of strategies.
o Access data, construct and manipulate large datasets to using SAS, Excel, SQL, and similar tools
o Develop tools / dashboards to support the tracking of implementation and achieved value for various strategies.
o Coordinate efforts across company teams that can include Specialty, Retail, Clinical Ops, IT/TI, Product Development, Finance, various departments in Trade and Finance, account teams, and other corporate departments to ensure flawless implementation of strategies
o Managing complex projects related to a wide variety of financial, utilization, and operational business needs.
-8 + years’ experience in analytics or similar role with frequent use of large data sets
-2+ years' experience of management experience, either directly or indirectly managing a team.
-Minimum of 1 year of experience in SAS, SQL or other database software
-Experience in Microsoft Excel-based modeling
-Experience extracting, manipulating, and analyzing large data sets and then using it to draw conclusions
-Occasional travel may be required
-Ability to interact with others in a collegial and professional manner and help foster teamwork and knowledge sharing to complete key tasks
-Experience coaching and mentoring a diverse group of colleagues both on your immediate team and in other departments
-Ability to interact with all level of management, including VPs and executives.
-Prior experience or knowledge of PBM industry or pharmaceuticals is preferred
-Strong presentation and communication skills with experience presenting to various business groups
-Aptitude to communicate complex analytic findings and conclusions in an easy to understand way
-Strong organizational, multi-tasking, and follow up skills.
-Ability to work independently in a fast paced environment and manage tight deadlines and competing priorities
-Bachelor’s degree required;
-Degree related to finance, mathematics, operations, statistics, actuarial science, epidemiology, economics or other data related fields preferred.
